The last time I was in Miami I drove by your childhood home hoping i would see you. You are home with the Lord and one day I will see you again. Thank you for being so real.

Condolence: Mary Ann,

I am so sorry to see you go. My heart is very sad. You were way too young and full of life. Remember when we met? We met at Kensington Park Elementary School in Miami. I think we became good friends in the 5 grade and in 6th grade we were in the same class and did many things together. I remember being at your house many many times.....for parties, just hanging out and playing records....dancing....spending the night and crying to our favorites songs. We had a blast. We were friends in jr. high but not quit as close. We had our boyfriends and were just trying to grow up. Then came high school and we didn't see each other very often. Life came and we lost each other for many years until one day, I got back in touch with our friend Hinky and she know where you were. I remember getting so excited to give you call. We had the best time talking and walking down memory lane. We laughed, and laughed and laughed about all the crazy things we had done back in elementary school. You were such a fun person, everyone wanted to be your friend. I spoke to you several times over the last several years and we always had fun talking. I am sad that I never got the chance to visit with you in person. I guess that will have to wait until we meet again one day, my dear friend. Will always have wonderful memories of you and will cherish them always. Much love, Linda High Thompson

Condolence:
Elgee, Eric, Richie, and Kay and Margaret,
Mary and I were friends for over 50 years, so many wonderful times of laughter and fun. You all were always like part of my family. I loved Mary so much and even made her my sons Godmother. I will miss her smile, and her laugh, good God she and I could laugh at anything till our sides ached. There are few people who have such a sunny disposition like Marys. What a wonderful way to be remembered huh? Mary loved her family, she was so proud of her sons and grand daughters. She had pictures of them in her purse at all times. Our sympathy goes out to the whole family,

Condolence: Our family is very sad to learn of Mary's passing. We send our very deepest sympathy to her entire family.

Whenever Mary was at our home she was always excited to relate stories of her sons and granddaughters. She would show us the latest pictures and describe their latest accomplishments. She loved them very much and was extremely proud of them, which was evidenced by her beaming face as she spoke.

She was so happy to have traveled to California to visit Margaret and was always happy to have Kay visit or vice versa.

Mary was a very warm and kindhearted woman who never hesitated to celebrate another person's good fortune; be that birthday, anniversary or any holiday. While at The Mountain Press, if there was any excuse for a party, Mary was always right there to get it organized.

The brightness of her smile and cheerful outlook will be missed by all her knew her.
