Obituary for Ann Johnson (Landreau)

Ann Landreau Johnson passed away on Thursday, July 17, in Highlands, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 20, at 2:30 PM (EST) in Marseilles Cemetery in West Point, GA, with the Reverend Tom Tucker and the Reverend Hugh Peacock officiating.

In recent months Mrs. Johnson had resided at the Fidelia Eckert Living Center in Highlands, NC, after being a resident of Macon, GA, for the last 13 years. Mrs. Johnson spent most of her life in West Point, GA, where she was a loving wife and mother and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of West Point for over 60 years.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Lee Arlin Johnson. She is survived by her devoted children, Ron Johnson of Marietta, GA and Sandra Barrow and her husband John of Macon, GA; sister, Pauline Harbourt; grandsons, Dr. John Barrow of Nashville, TN, and Dr. Mark Barrow and his wife Lee of Macon, GA; great grandsons, John "Jack" Barrow IV, Mark Barrow, Jr., and Samuel Barrow.

In lieu of flowers, her memory would be honored through memorials to First Baptist Church of West Point, 301 E. 8th. St., West Point, GA, 31833 or a memorial of one's choice.
