Blanche A. Tallent, 60, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2014.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Grayson Tallent and Freda Moore Tallent. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Tallent. Blanche worked at Macon Citizens for the Handicapped; attended First Baptist Church; enjoyed gospel music and bowling and was a Special Olympics athlete.

She is survived by a sister, Grace Houston of Franklin; two brothers, Buster Tallent and Junior Tallent both of Franklin and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, September 8, at Prentiss Church of God. Rev. Don Moffitt, Rev. Frank Rodriguez, Rev. Tim Hayes and Tracy Tallent will officiate. Burial will be in the Addington Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Monday, prior to the service at the church.

Nephews will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be residents of MCH Group Home.
