Obituary for Keith Neville Curtis

Keith Neville Curtis, 53, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2014.

Born in Lincoln Park, Michigan, he was the son of Ruby Belcher Curtis and the late Claude Neville Curtis. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Martin and a brother, Lawrence Lowry. Keith played in the Whoever Band; loved his motorcycles; was a member of the Boundary Hunting Club and a member of Coweeta Baptist Church. He was a truck driver, and a former dispatcher and 911 coordinator for Macon County.

In addition to his mother, Ruby Curtis, he is survived by his wife, Lisa Shearl Curtis; two children, Brian Keith Curtis and Sabrina Jenell Curtis both of Franklin; three sisters, Denise Southard and husband Steve and Sheila McClure and husband Richard all of Franklin and Glenda Loose and husband Cliff of Otto; one grandchild, Lelynd Patrique Chasse; special friend, Dee Di Elmo of Franklin and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Davis Hooper will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers will be John Shearl, John Pagan, Billy Tilley, Eddie Ledford, Mark Lathrop and Dwayne Cabe.
