Isabella Roper Duvall, 91, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, October 07, 2014.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Roper and Rebecca Houston Roper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jud Duvall who died February 19, 2007, infant daughter, Janice Dale Duvall; brother, Nyle Roper; sister-in-law, Addie Crews Roper and a great grandson, Parker Mathis. Isabella worked at Van Raalte and retired from C.R. Industries. She was a member of Iotla Baptist Church and the Dorcas Sunday School Class.
She is survived by a son, Guy Duvall and wife Sandra of Franklin; two grandchildren, Mickey Duvall and wife Katie and Robin Spivey and husband Kevin both of Franklin; six great grandchildren, Derek Roland, Michael Mathis, Tanner, Mikey, Wyatt and Abigail Duvall; sister, Mildred Wild and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 10, at Iotla Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Reeves and Dr. Jeff Hensley will officiate. Burial will be in the Fouts Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 9, at Macon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Spivey, Derek Roland, Mickey Duvall, Tanner Duvall, Michael Mathis and Mike Mathis.
