Ronald Emil  Anderson
Ronald Emil Anderson, 77, of Franklin passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014.

Born in Minneapolis, MN, he was the son of the late Emil H. Anderson and Angeline Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step son, Thomas Manogue. Ronald was retired from the U.S. Navy; a member of Freedom Through the Word Church, Rockford, IL; and was a model trains enthusiast. He was a generous and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Mosher Anderson; two children, James Anderson of Loves Park, IL and Terry Elliott and husband, Frank of Dover, FL; five step children, Abram Manogue and wife Bonnie of Franklin, Robert Manogue and wife Sue of Denver, CO, William Manogue of Philadelphia, PA, Glenna Ninos of South Haven, MS, Barbara Manogue of Philadelphia, PA and Laura Benson and husband, Bruce of Branson, MO; daughter-in-law, Rosetta Manogue of Philadelphia, PA; brother, Gary Anderson and wife Gretchen of Minneapolis, MN; sister, Fran Gleason and husband Thomas of Minneapolis, MN; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, December 26, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
