Condolence From: Marion Wood "Woody" Halenda
Condolence: I thought about Tim this morning as I have at times over the years. We were good friends and grew up in Kendall FL, in Miami that was pineland forest. I met Tim after he had been struck by lightning while holding on to an aluminum close line attached to to pine trees. He was out to warn his father who was mowing the lawn to come in because of the approaching storm.

His recovery from that life changing event was long and difficult as I remember, and he was not able to run around the neighborhood with Sandy, Dain, and I. Dain died young of melanoma. He had what Doctors said was a birthmark on his neck and it ended his life in his early twenties. We have lost other friends from the neighborhood too early, two Steves, Kenny, Jack, others moved away.

I lost touch with Tim, he was a year older and our paths diverged when he went to Killian high School and I was stuck at Glades Jr High I believe they moved 9th grade from Sr. High to Jr High so it was a two year lag before I caught up to him.

If I'm not mistaken he was the Equipment Manager for the football team since his limitations from the Lightning strike kept him from playing, the guy never gave up and was truly an inspiration for those in our neighborhood who lived life to the full as well... some not as well as Tim. I hoped to speak with him again to catch up and write about his survival story since I seem to have my own story of survival in need of writting.

We had a fantastic youth in our Kendall home and many who survived did so in an excelling way. Tim was one of them and his intellect was apparent early on and that never quit attitude and consideration and thoughtfulness . Awaiting him in the resurrection, Woody

Condolence: I just found out of Tim's passing and wanted to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family for their loss. I met Tim early in my sales career and while we did not have mutual lines of sales, he was always fun to be around and willing to share his insights. I always looked forward to his presence, and I am sorry I did not have the opportunity to work with him more closely. I have thought of him often over the years, and know he will be missed by all in the veterinary industry whose lives he touched, human and otherwise.

Condolence: Timmy B as I have known him for 25 years was a friend, mentor and absolutely 1 of the best sales persons I have ever met. I always knew I could count on him to help me help clients. He always had a smile and a great attitude. we counted on his industry insights and honesty every week. As inside sales, he was our eye and ears and made it possible for us to do so much more from our desks. Timmy you are going to be greatly miss by all of us, Wendy

Condolence: I knew Tim for over 20 years. He set a high standard for his profession and was always so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. If Tim told me he would take care of something I knew it was handled. I spoke to him 3 times last week and was terribly shocked and saddened to hear the news of his passing. My deepest sympathy to his wife and family. Tim will be dearly missed by those that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear about Tim….my stomach aches in hearing this news. He's the only Jorgensen rep I ever know since I've been at Merritt, and he was a favorite among many of us here. He always made it a point to stop by and talk with everyone….if he brought something for the sales dept., he also brought something for the other depts., too…he wanted to make sure everyone felt their job was just as important because he said it takes a team effort to get the job done from taking the order to packing and shipping it. He was funny, witty, a little goofy at times, but that’s what made him so likeable. He will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to his wife Marie; I'm glad she has family around her to help her get through this awfully sad time.
