Obituary for Terry "Baldy" Lee Quesenberry

Terry "Baldy" Lee Quesenberry
Terry Lee "Baldy" "Tootie" Quesenberry, 56 of Franklin, passed away March 20th at his home.
Born March 1, 1959 to Eleanor Nichols of Franklin and the late Johnny Quesenberry of Virginia, Baldy was a life-long Macon County resident except for a wild hair trip out west to cut timber in his youth. A "Cartoogechaye Tech" graduate, Baldy loved hunting, fishing, Busch beer, NASCAR, the Western channel, Andy Griffith, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, and just sitting around shooting the breeze with any of his thousands of friends that would just drop by to talk. To know Baldy made you his friend and earned you some crazy nickname that only ever really made sense to him. To love Baldy made you his family. Baldy is survived by his wife of 28 years Sandra Quesenberry, his mother Eleanor Lewis, his brother Bobby "Brother" Lewis, his loving niece and nephew Kaitlin "Boo" and Kenan "Bug" Lewis, and his aunts Belva Edwards, Georgia Zachary, Ann Nichols, and Betty Holland. Baldy is also survived by his brothers-from-other-mothers Brian "Big Un" Waldroop and Gary "Jaybird" Roper. He is also survived by his step-children Blaine and Stephanie Chaplin, step-grandkids Rachel and John Koop, and a bunch of loving cousins and other extended family members and friends.

A private family service is planned. Also, a celebration of Baldy's life will occur at a date to be determined where a pig will be picked, Busch will be drank, and favorite Baldy stories and pictures will be shared. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to Macon Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
