Condolence: She was a "Gold Star." I will remember Betty for her pleasing personality and concern for others. It was Betty who was responsible for building my interest in working toward the first NCRSP Gold Star Award. Because of sickness in her family she never got to evaluate the project from my county. Condolence: Betty Huffman was one of the kindest human beings I have ever met. I never heard her utter a negative word about anyone. She always made encouraging comments to anyone struggling to earn a gold star or meet an elusive deadline. She certainly will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her or worked with her in any capacity. My sincerest condolences to her family members.

Condolence: We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Betty Howard Huffman. Many years ago, growing up in the Otto area, I remember so vividly Betty's involvement with Mulberry and her beautiful music. She was an inspiration to all of us who grew up with an appreciation for "church music."

Condolence: My sincere sympathy goes out to Betty's family. I had the privilege of getting to know Betty and work with her on the board for just a short time. I knew instantly what a very special lady she was. She refused to let her discomfort stop her from getting the job done on the awards projects. Condolence: My heart goes out to your family. I am so sorry for your loss. What pain hurts worse than the pain of losing someone that you love? Though the pain you're feeling must seem unbearable, please remember that you are not alone. Psalms 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." Pray to Him for strength. Weep to Him when there are no words. One of the poets of the Bible said at Psalms 56:8, "You keep track of my wandering. Do collect my tears in your skin bottle." You see, God understands your pain and He cares for you very much (1 Peter 5:7). And He will really help you get through this difficult time (Isaiah 41:10). Please, call upon His name found at Psalms 83:18.
