Obituary for Alfred Thomas "Tommy" Dills
Alfred T. 'Tommy' Dills, 72, of Marietta, GA, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015.
A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Challie Dills and Iva Jean Crisp Dills. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Dills. He was retired from Lockheed Martin and was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was a master craftsman as well as enjoyed playing guitars, gardening and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Peggy Ann Dills; two daughters, Renee Golden (Keith) of Atlanta, GA and Tina Breeden (John) of Woodstock, GA; three sisters, Frances McCoy, Margaret Parrish and Carol Ervin all of Franklin; three grandsons, Chris (Kat) Golden, Kevin Golden and James (Melissa) Breeden; one great granddaughter, Abby Breeden and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held at 12noon on Saturday, September 26, 2015 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home with Rev. Gary McCoy officiating.
The family received friends Saturday from 10am until 12noon at the funeral home.
