Obituary for William "Bill" George Lobeck
William “Bill” Lobeck, 86, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016.
Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late William Lobeck and Mary Schmalofer Lobeck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Scott Lobeck and two sisters, Anne Johnson and Mary Ann Findley.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Lobeck; one daughter, Stacy Lobeck of Franklin; one grandson, Brian Schick and wife Megan of Raleigh, NC; one granddaughter, Madison Lobeck of Franklin; one great grandson, Erik Schick; three sisters, Rose Marie Gillan of New Albany, IN, Bernadette Hawthorne of Allens Town, PA and Kathleen Bowers of Lancaster, PA and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 24th at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
