Obituary for Hattie Shobe
Hattie Shobe, 91 of Franklin, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
Born in Cairo, GA, she was the daughter of the late Kader Claiburn Hawthorne and Hattie Whitfield Hawthorne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Dale Shobe; three brothers, Paul, Ed and Ira and five sisters, Lillian, Lizzy, Ada, Ola and Erie. Hattie enjoyed gardening, crocheting and spending time doing community service and volunteering with hospice. She was a member of Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by two children, Carol Kurti and husband Ralph and Dale Shobe and wife Melinda both of Franklin; seven grandchildren; five step grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 23 at Seventh-day Adventist Church.
