Kenneth Rogers, 85 of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017.

Born in Macon Co, he was the son of the late Fred Albert Rogers and Grace Coggins Rogers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Cora Mae Rogers; one son, Brent Rogers and his sister Marquitta Bryson. Kenneth was a great grandson of David Jasper Rogers and Angeline Mincey Rogers and the grandson of James Newton Rogers and Millie S. Rogers. He was a US Navy veteran and served on the USS Iowa during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Evron James Rogers and wife Cheryl and Rick Rogers and wife Diana both of Franklin; three grandchildren, Eric Rogers, Jimmy Rogers and Joel Rogers; three great grandchildren, Cooper Rogers, Sophie Rogers and Madelaine Rogers.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17th at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Greg Rogers officiating and the VFW Post 7339, American Legion Post 108 and US Navy Honors performing full military rites.
