Carole Eva Gregory, 74, of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Clara Henson Gregory. Carole received her degree in Biology from the College of the Ozarks, Arkansas where she graduated with honors. She moved to Washington, DC and worked as a lab technician/biologist for the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology; she retired after 33 years. She was a member of Hickory Knoll United Methodist Church.

Carole is survived by one sister, Jean Gregory Evans and husband Ronald of Franklin; two brothers, David Gregory and wife Woodie of Clayton and Ed Gregory of Fredericksburg, VA; one nephew, Ted Gregory and wife Chris of Chattanooga, TN and one great nephew, Collin Gregory.

A gathering of friends will be held from 10-12 p.m. Saturday, July 8th at Macon Funeral Home.
