Condolences

Condolence From: Pastor Ricky Kurth
Condolence: I am very thankful to God for Lynn's work with Northern Grace Youth Camp. My son Jesse attended NGYC every year, and there is no doubt in my mind that this ministry, of which Lynn was so much a part, had an extremely large part in molding him into the fine young man he has become. Only eternity will show how many lives Lynn touched through this ministry, and in every other area of his life.

Condolence From: Sue Sommer
Condolence: Dear Loretta, I was so sorry to hear of Lynn's unexpected passing. He was such an influential person in my life. I will always be grateful for his ministry at the Community Bible Church in Wittenberg and especially for the wonderful home Bible studies that he taught. I shared the news of Lynn's death with Mary (Frasch) Koeppel. No doubt you will remember that she and I shared a house when we were both teaching in the area. She said, "I owe much of my understanding of scripture to him." I couldn't agree more. My thoughts and prayers are with your and your family at this time of loss.

Sincerely,
Sue (Anderson) Sommer

Condolence: May God bless and hold dear in His arms my friend Lynn and give comfort to his wife, Loretta. I'm proud to say that Lynn was a friend in the truest sense of the word, whom I saw in his job as one of our courtroom bailiffs almost every day of the work week for many years. Lynn was kind and giving, treating all who came to court with dignity and respect, while always keeping order with a firm hand. If you had troubles, no matter who you were, Lynn would be there to talk and pray with you. Rest in Peace, my friend!

Condolence From: Joel R McGarvey
Condolence: I knew Lynn back in the early 80s as we were fellow students at Grace Bible College. Lynn was a great guy who loved his wife and family and life. But above all else he loved his Lord and Savior and had a real compassion to serve Him fully. He loved to laugh and 'play' but he was serious concerning his ministry and went about it with great determination.
Now he has gone Home to be with the Lord he loved and faithfully served. He has realized his great hope of being "absent from the body and present with the Lord" (2 Cor. 5:7). "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." (Ps 116:15) But a great day of reunion awaits for all in Christ, so til that day we say, "See you later friend." What a day that will be! And it is all because Lynn had placed his faith and trust, not in a religious practice, ceremony or sacrament, but rather the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Cor. 15:1-4)

Condolence: Lynn was a man of God, who preached the Word in season and out.If you heard him preach you would hear the gospel that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures and that he was buried, and that he rose from the dead three days later, according to the scripture. He was not ashamed of the gospel because he knew it was the power of God unto salvation to every one who believed. He was a workman who was not ashamed, who rightly divided the Word of truth. God bless his family. We'll see you soon, Lynn.
