Obituary for Geneva L. Stanfield (Ledbetter)

Geneva Ledbetter Stanfield, 77, of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Ledbetter and Pearl Frazier Ledbetter. Geneva was a member of Riverside Fellowship Church where she served as pianist. She and her husband Mac owned and operated Old Corundum Millsite Campground for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Mac D. Stanfield; son, Michael Stanfield and wife Teresa of Beaufort, SC; brothers, Max Ledbetter and Buck Ledbetter both of Franklin, Larry Ledbetter of Louisiana; two sisters, Jane Brookshire of Virginia and Kathy Hurst of Franklin; granddaughter, Hannah Stanfield; step granddaughter, Leslie Price; three great grandchildren, Carson, Chloe and Camille and one step great grandchild, Paisley.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 20, at Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Cloer will officiate. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Dale Brookshire, David Brookshire, Steven Ledbetter, Tommy Stanfield, Kent Ledford and Kevin Ledford.
