My Mother's Baby Sitter
My family were lifelong friends of Rita. My mother's family Ellis and Roberta Stephens and their Daughter Bettye Jeanne were from Fort Lauderdale as well. Rita who was a few years older than my mom would babysit her. They lost touch through the years,but got back in touch and kept in touch until my mother's passing in 2008. Rita and Jim attended the horse shows in Franklin when I competed. I was blessed to have known them and kept in touch with them after my mother's death. Jim and Rita were and will always be family. Rita and mom were convinced that they were related through the Todd blood,as we too had Todd in our tree. But no matter we were family.
Rita and Jim will be missed by many.
