Cousins
Dear Shirley, Jennifer, Madeline, Joe, Jr and family:
Our family celebrated many memories in Lutz, FL when we were so young and fearless. We had such wonderful memories at your home, Aunt Karl's and at Charles & Joy Tucker. As I've grown older as your cousin, and I see how blessed our childhood and of course our teen years, we are very blessed by our grandmother, giving us a great big family. Joe & Shirley were part of the glue that kept us together. Your dad being an educator in education, he impressed us all with his knowledge, gentleness and kindness. All he had to do was give us "that look" and we got it instantly. He was a great mentor to all of us cousins to set goals and be respectful to each other. I want to say how blessed I am to have been just a small part in his life. I tell our friends what a wonderful life we had as children because of our families. Do you know how blessed we are? I truly mean these words. I know I'm rambling so I want to talk about Joe. We all adored how handsome he always was, even when the grey began to show. He was very distinguished but yet such a simple man. Thank you for sharing Joe, (husband & father) with my family. He made a difference in my life. I pray for you during the days and nights ahead; may our Heavenly Father bring comfort, peace and light in the coming days. Tears are a language that God Understands. May all the memories you have bring warmth, laughter, tears forever in your hearts until you see him again. My dad, Charles Duron and my mom Lucille loved Joe so much; their love for him showed us what a true man of honor, a leader, and man of God, Joe showed us how much he loved and cherished his family.
I love all of you and continue to pray for each of you.
Sincerely from our family,
Patty Crumbley Shedden & my husband, Robert & my precious mama, Lucille Crumbley
